It's Fucking Feel-Good Friday!

My name is Cait Byrnes, I'm a Holistic Health and Wellness Coach, and I work with women to help them have energy all day - and I do that through really simple and sustainable diet and lifestyle shifts.

Today's quick tip is to prep your food as much as you can!

So I know we've already talked about meal planning a little bit, the next step in really making sure that you're getting super nutrient-dense meals throughout the week is to prep your food as much as you can over the weekend.

So once you've figured out what you're making for the week for your lunches, your dinners, whatever, and you've got all your groceries, what you wanna do is prep components of those meals as much as possible.

So, for example, you could chop all the veggies that you need for the week and store them in the fridge.  If you know that you're gonna have some rice or some quinoa you can pre-make that, and then just portion it out for the week when you need it in your meals.  If you're using any sauces or dressings you can pre-make those, stick them in the fridge.

And what's great about this is then you can just pull stuff out, heat it up, and you're good!  

I know one of the biggest barriers for so many people to eat healthy throughout the week is that by the time you get home from work you're fucking exhausted, right?  And the last thing you wanna do is make this big, elaborate meal that's gonna take you 3 or 4 hours to finish.

I love when I can just pull stuff out of the fridge, heat it up on the stove or in the oven, and call it a day.  It's easily the number one thing that helps me eat healthy throughout the week.
