It’s fucking feel-good Friday!

My name is Cait Byrnes, I’m a Holistic Health and Wellness Coach and I help women have all-day energy through simple and sustainable diet and lifestyle changes.

Today’s quick tip is to try an Epsom salt soak this weekend. (check with your doc first if you are pregnant or have a heart condition)

And you can do this in a couple different ways, you take a bath using Epsom salts or you can do a foot soak if you don’t have a bath tub.  Either way you get the great benefits.

So why do we want to do this?

Epsom salt is really great because it’s basically just magnesium, and magnesium is super easily absorbed through the skin.  And many of us are actually deficient in magnesium and we don’t even know it because who the hell is thinking about magnesium on a day-to-day basis.

But when you’re deficient in magnesium you might feel more stressed out, you might have insomnia, there are all different issues that can pop up.

So one of the best ways to get your magnesium is to do an Epsom salt soak – plus, it’s just lovely!

So what you want to do is use about a cup of Epsom salt in your tub, you can also add a little bit of baking soda if you want that - plus you can use some essential oils to make it smell nice, so I like to use a couple drops of lavender in there as well.

And you just soak all you cares away girl.
